Rogue Johnsen has a unique and impressive resume. Like many, he's had a lifelong passion for playing Blues and Roots music. Unlike most, he has a Masters Degree in education and learned first hand from some true Blues legends.

Rogue Johnsen Project plays a diverse blend of original blues, groove-jazz, and American roots music. Dedicated to continuing the traditions of Blues and Roots music and it's early offshoots, and to recording and performing new music that passes on the spirit of those traditions,
Formed by Mike Dutton (guitars) and Joe Wells (drums), Their first release, the all-instrumental 20/20, was critically acclaimed and received national and international airplay. In 2023, guitarist /songwriter Mark Saurs and drummer Lance Foster joined the Project and began recording tracks for the next release: HOME
Ten original compositions, and one classical Charles Brown cover.
HOME by Rogue Johnsen Project is influenced by a range of American music styles from Country Blues and Southern Soul, to Jazz/Blues and Rock & Roll.
